HOUSE VISIT EUROPE
The idea is to contrast the intimacy in people’s private homes with the idea of Europe.
12 Europeans will be chosen to create a type of shadow parliament in apartments all over Europe. Instead of the usual "summit meetings" we will make encounters at a more tangible and down-to-earth level.
The artistic purpose with the project is to find out how the European identity looks like if you ask ordinary people and not politicians, but also to put focus to what problems Europe as a concept is facing in every country. In addition, to do it in a way where the normal way of thinking ‘theatre’ is challenged.
MIRIAM FRANDSEN er uddannet cand.mag. i teatervidenskab og Dansens æstetik og historie fra Københavns universitet, 2003. Udover at være projektudvikler på Statens Scenekunstskoles Efteruddannelse arbejder hun som freelance dramaturg, dramaturgisk konsulent og underviser.
Derudover har Miriam Frandsen været formand for Foreningen af Danske Dramaturger siden 2009 og ansat som egnsteaterkonsulent i Kunststyrelsen i 2011. Hun sidder i Dansk Danseteaters betyrelse og i aftagerpanelet for institut for Kunst og Kulturvidenskab på Københavns Universitet, hvor hun også fungerer som censor.
