apply for full degree programmes
If you wish to become a full-degree student and complete either a three-year bachelor programme or a two-year master programme, the same conditions, application forms and audition criteria apply to all students (Danish as well as international students). Please find the programme you're interested in and read the application guide for the programme.
language requirements
Be aware that the main teaching language is English in the following programmes only: Bachelor in Dance and Choreography, Master in Dance and Participation, and Master in Choreography. In all other programmes, the main teaching language is Danish.
ADMISSION 2025
The next admission to the Danish National School of Performing Arts is in 2025.
From 1 October 2024, you can apply for the Bachelor's programmes starting in August 2025. The application deadline is 2 December 2024.
There is no admission to Master's programmes in 2025. The next student intake is in 2026.
DANCE AND CHOREOGRAPHY (in Holstebro)
The Bachelor programme in Dance and Choreography in Holstebro is no longer open for applications for the 2024 student intake. The application deadline was 15 March 2024.

The Master in Performing Arts has been permanently discontinued. There will be no future student intakes into this programme.
The Danish National School of Performing Arts is currently in the process of developing a series of new master’s programmes planned to commence in the 2026/2027 academic year. These forthcoming programmes will be more closely aligned with the school's bachelor’s programmes and will be offered in Danish.
