Lucía Maglio from the Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Participation presents her graduation project with two separate events: A sharing practice inside her own home, and a lecture performance at the school's campus in Copenhagen.

Sharing practice

The sharing practice is a participatory and relational space where participants are invited to experience and explore a selection of tasks and findings developed throughout my dance research. Grounded in Eco-somatic practices, the session investigates how different relational dynamics can emerge through embodied encounters with others, the environment, and the space we inhabit.
Taking the home as a site for artistic research, the practice proposes “mi casa, tu casa” as a radical gesture of encounter: moving the centre to the periphery and inviting another into a space that is usually understood as private and intimate.

How can participatory choreographic practices create spaces of care, coexistence, and intercultural exchange across different contexts in Denmark?
Rooted in personal experiences of migration, VASt a arises from deep waters to find a multilingual voice. It explores female experience, culture, pain, and care as embodied forms of knowledge, reflecting on how hybrid symbolic spaces can allow new voices to emerge within artistic and social contexts.
Through dance and Eco-somatic practices, the research moves between personal experience, different landscapes, and the intimate space of home, exploring alternative ways of relating to the body, the hosting hostile environment, and one another.
