RADICAL EMPATHY

While focusing on the agency of a citizen in society today, we developed a choreographic system where each dancer, from start to finish, has the ability to reroute the entire performance at any moment.  Within a finely balanced combination of set material and improvisation, the dancers navigate together, influencing, persuading, convincing each other of what each feels the optimal next step is.  Over the course of an hour we witness what capacity or resistance anyone has for change amongst this vibrant group of individuals.
