BODY NEWS & KALEIDOSCOPE
An evening of two performances with the Dance and Choreography students
KALEIDOSCOPE
Kaleidoscope is the result of a collaboration between Ursula Robb and the 1st year Dance and Choreography students. Ursula has guided the students in generating their own movement material and then applied choreographic processes and compositional tools that she keeps from her work with the Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and the company ROSAS. Next to the choreographic work Ursula emphasizes the performed movement qualities in the in-real-time dialogue between the performer and the movement.
In addition, the students have worked with Kim Helweg on the accompanying music — Steve Reich’s "Music for Pieces of Wood" – which they will perform live.

Here, the movement is approached as a theatrical act.
