Relationscapes
In a dance performance, three students from Dance & Participation facilitate a unique encounter between artworks, place and visitors at Rudolph Tegners Museum.
The showings are part of 'The Museum Project' in the Dance & Participation Master's programme.
Relationscapes, taken from the book of the same title by Erin Manning (2012), is an invitation to experience the dancing body as an integral part of the landscape and statues in the park at Tegner's Museum. The three dancers present personal responses to the entanglement between body, earth and stone. Through sensing, absorbing and responding to their environment each creates a unique relationscape to be experienced, observed or joined.

The Museum Project focuses on participation and dance in a specific institutional setting; Tegners Museum and Sculpture Park. Taking a practical artistic approach, the students investigate the evolving relationship between the gallery visitor, the gallery artefacts, the space and themselves as dance artists.
The subject is taught by Sheila de Val with additional lectures from Quim Bigas and Delhi Hannah
