Performance Lectures
To investigate discursive aspects of dance and choreography, and how those aspects might entangle with physical practice and composition, the students of the MFA in Choreography invite you to their series of Performance Lectures.

Are my emotions only mine?
Or are they also a kind of inheritance, passed on through my genes?
If I have been an egg inside my mother when she was an embryo inside my grandmother, does it mean that we have been one body?
In AMULETS, we wonder about those and similar questions through imaginary conversations with my grandmother Giorgina about life, love, and rage. The conversations take different forms: they are dances, objects, sounds, and words, reaching through generations to find the intersections of our stories.

Is a performance essay made in collaboration with percussionist Remi Gouffault. Stepping together, stepping for x or stepping alone across your parents carpet. This work brings together research, memories, conversations, and dances that explore the multitude of ways of stepping and its relation to creating and inhabiting space.
