Baggrund

Jacob Trautner er uddannet i 1998 fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium i Århus på rytmisk linje med klaver som hovedfag. Før det studerede han to år som på klassisk linje som klassisk pianist. Efter konservatoriet arbejdede han med sangskrivning og musikproduktion og tog i forlængelse af dette arbejde et etårigt kursus som lydtekniker på Danmedia.

Han arbejder på DDSKS i Fredericia som repetitør og klaverlærer. Derudover er han medvirkende til diverse projektuger, masterclasses og akademiets årlige showcase-produktion.

Jacob arbejder desuden som freelance pianist, keyboardmand, kapelmester og musikalsk arrangør i mange forskellige sammenhænge.

Han stiftede sammen med dirigent Christian Baltzer i 2009 selskabet Balthazar Music ApS, hvis primære fokus har været at fokusere på historien og fortællingen i udvikling af musikalske koncepter. Det har ført til samarbejder og koncerter med bl.a Ålborg og Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester.
