INFORMATION From the danish national school of performing arts on COVID-19
Following the Danish government’s current measures to slow down the spread of the corona virus, The Danish National School of Performing Arts is forced to shut down its activities until a re-opening is possible. School staff and students have been instructed to remain at home and the school buildings are closed.
The Danish National School of Performing Arts is closely following the instructions of the authorities and will continuously update this site as the situation develops.
Below you can find information that may be relevant to you if you plan to participate in the school's activities related to these areas:
All announced performances and events are cancelled.
These are the events in question:
- Skælvet – 18-22 March at Republique
- Musicalaften i Tøjhuset – 25 March at Tøjhuset
- Markedet (er ikke noget sted) - 5-30 May at Odense Teater
As these events take place at external venues, we kindly refer audiences to the venues’ own precautions and policies on refunds.
Since April 28, all students in the final year of their Bachelor's education have been granted access to meet at the school and work together on their graduation productions.
This means that students can complete their education, and during May and June they will present their work in different ways. Several of the graduation performances will be available to audiences in digital formats.
The graduation project for the students in the Master's program in Dance Partnership, where external participation is an essential element, is postponed to August
The audition for the MFA in Performing Arts has been cancelled. The programme will therefore not accept new students in 2020. The next student intake will be in 2021. The applicants will be reimbursed for their application fee and will receive notice from the school.

All applicants who have been invited to an audition will be contacted by the school.
All course activity and the first module on the diploma programme in cultural management and producing in March that was scheduled for March through May is postponed. The students enrolled in these activities will be contacted by the school.
