Information for International Students at DDSKS
At The Danish National School of Performing Arts we are happy to welcome students from all parts of the world. We offer more than 14 different theatre, musical theatre and dance programmes and specializations with students from many different countries.
There are two distinct options for international students who wish to become a student at The Danish National School of Performing Arts:
To become a full-degree student doing a complete three-year bachelor's degree or a two-year master's degree: The same conditions, application forms and audition criteria apply for all students (Danish as well as internationals). For more information on full-degree study, click here.
As an exchange student studying here for one semester supported by programmes like Erasmus+ or Nordplus: There are only few places available for exchange students and they are all awarded upon individual and motivated applications, evaluated by the education leader – and followed-up by an interview (face-to-face or telephone) with the prospective student. For more information on exchange, click here.
Students not residing in the EU/EEA countries including Turkey, and who are not applicable for the Erasmus+ and Nordplus programmes, are also welcome to apply for some of our education programmes, but should be aware that admission can be more complicated and that tuition fees apply for all programmes. To learn more, please visit the website Study in Denmark.
The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) applies to all education programmes at The Danish National School of Performing Arts, and each course is equivalent to a given amount of ECTS.
