About Further Education

further education (Evu)

EVU is housed both in Nykøbing Sjælland and Copenhagen. The objective is to strenghten the field of continuing education for professional performing artists and to develop new diploma programmes and master degrees.

EVU presents a range of courses with strong international anchoring, which reflects new tendencies, methods, and ways of working for the benefit of the Danish performing arts scene.

EVU is striving to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to create platforms for interdisciplinary collaborations. We offer knowledge, inspiration, and new skills to professional performing artists in the form of courses, workshops, master classes, and symposiums with the foremost capacities in Denmark and abroad.

We also offer two diploma programmes in collaboration with University College Absalon.
