The Danish National School of Performing Arts is welcoming professional actors to a one day seminar about navigating between Agents and Casters, in Denmark and abroad.
The aim is to help actors maneuver in the film and TV industry and chart the options nationally and internationally.
The seminar takes place in Copenhagen on January 11th 2019.
KEYNOTES * Q&A´s * DEBATES * MINGELING
The day will start with a keynote “Practical Tips for Actors for the 21st century marketplace” by Talent agent RICHARD COOK, IE, from The Lisa Richards Agency, Ireland’s premier talent agency representing Irish and international actors in Ireland.
In the program you will also find a Talk with Danish manager and agent ANNE LINDBERG from Lindberg Management, German managing director MATTIAS FRIK from Spielkind Management and German manager and agent KERSTIN NEUHAUS from Agentur Kerstin Neuhaus about the relationship between actor and agent. They all represent some of the most renowned and talented Scandinavian and European actors.
Followed by a Talk and Q&A with a panel of highly acclaimed International Casting directors reflecting over the questions “What can an actor expect/demand from a caster and vice versa? How do the caster collaborate with the director and producer, and how do you as an actor approach a caster?

Legendary casting director for thirteen James Bond films including the upcoming Bond 25, which will premiere in 2020.
Beatrice Kruger (IT)
Caster of Italian and international films since 1992 including Woody Allen's To Rome With Love, and The Tourist starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
Natalie Cheron (FR)
Luc Besson's casting director of choice. Her work also include The Bourne Identity with Matt Damon and The Family with Robert De Niro.

During the day you will also meet actors THURE LINDHARDT and MORTEN SUURBALLE in a talk about their experience with casting in Denmark and abroad and their collaboration with an agent.
Moderator of the day is Danish actor and journalist PETER PILEGAARD.
All the participants have the opportunity to record a greeting at arrival. The video will be given to our guests.

Lindberg Management is a management and agency company which represents some of the most renowned and talented Scandinavian and European actors, directors and scriptwriters.
Lindberg Management (www.lindbergmanagement.com) is located in Copenhagen and was founded in 2006 by Anne Lindberg, who has a long experience as both a manager and an agent for actors. Anne Lindberg has worked in the managing business since 2001, and in 2006 she established Lindberg Management.
After gaining knowledge in several editing- camera- and production departments Mattias Frik co-founded a production company in Munich. In 2000 he opened up a boutique talent agency which turned into Spielkind Management in 2005.
The Agency Kerstin Neuhaus (www.agentur-kerstin.de) represents German and Scandinavian clients in film, television, advertising and stage productions primarily for the European market.
Kerstin Neuhaus, of German/Swedish origin, is a dance graduate of Folkwang University in Essen. She spent many years as a dancer, actor and choreographer at various German theaters, followed by numerous tours and guest performances.
Her professional activities took her to Belgium, France, India, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia and the US, to name but a few. Kerstin spent several years working in artists management for a private theater and was part of the ICEM organizational team of Folkwang University for the “exmachina” festival.

Actor and journalist
Actor and writer Peter Pilegaard is a graduate from The Danish National School of Performing Arts. He has been acting on stage at theatres around Denmark for the past 16 years and has been a part of Shakespeare´s Globe Theatre in London twice. In 2004, he was granted an Artistic Residency working with former Artistic Director of The Globe, Mark Rylance, and in 2012, he was invited to The Globe to perform in Sonnet Sunday. As a writer, he has published a biography on Danish tennis-legend Michael Mortensen, and he also writes sports journalism for Politiken.
