We are thrilled to welcome back internationally renowned casting director Beatrice Kruger (IT).
Beatrice Kruger is caster of Italian and international films since 1992 including Woody Allen's To Rome with Love, and The Tourist starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
Beatrice was one of the casting directors at our seminar “Ready for you close up” in January 2019, and are now coming back to give a casting workshop in September. Join this three day workshop and learn from Beatrice’s experiences and professional approach.

Q & A Session
Scene work and Preparation
Participants will work on 4-5 roles from Nora Ephron's Sleepless in Seattle from 1993. Prior the workshop you will receive:
- Brief synopsis of Sleepless in Seattle
- Role descriptions x Annie, Sam, Becky, Tom, Detective Wheedle and Walther
- Audition scenes for each of the above-indicated roles (dialogues not monologues)
- Description of how Betrice would like the actor/actress to prepare his/her About-me-Video
You will receive this material one month before the workshop begins in order to choose the role you feel most appropriate, prepare and organize an actor colleague to give you the lines, film your self-audition, and film your about-me-Video according to the instructions in the respective description.

Growing up between Germany, Hong Kong, Italy and the USA Beatrice Kruger speaks 5 languages, studied acting, anthropological theatre and travelled throughout Europe as a theatre actress in the 70s and 80s.
In 1992 she founded FBI CASTING in Rome and has cast Italian and international films ever since, amongst many others: The Book of Vision (C. Hintermann), Grain (S. Kaplanoglu), The Cut (F. Akin), To Rome With Love (W. Allen), The American (A. Corbijn), Letters to Juliet (G. Winek), My Mother’s Smile (M. Bellocchio), Not of This World (G. Piccioni), El Alamein (E. Monteleone), Ten Winters (V. Mieli), Elvis & Meriljn (A. Manni), Italian or European casting for Gladbeck, The Divine Order, Spectre, Inferno, Dreamland, Nine, Casino Royale and recent TV credits for Mozart in the Jungle and Borgia.
Beatrice is a member of the AMPAS, the EFA, the Italian Film Academy and founder of www.e-talenta.eu, a multi-language platform for casting professionals and European actors.
